Painting Ascending Chromatic Grove

A highly textured impasto painting featuring a close-up view of several birch tree trunks. The trunks are rendered with thick, vertical palette knife strokes in shades of bright white, pale blue, and soft purple, accented with sharp, dark brown and black branch nubs. The sparse foliage is created with heavy, chunky dabs of bright yellow and pale lime green paint. The abstract background consists of broad, flat strokes transitioning from soft blues and golden yellows at the top to a rich, vivid pink and magenta near the bottom.
