Painting Prismatic Voyage

A lively, highly textured impasto painting depicting a group of sailboats on deep blue water. The scene is dominated by striking sails in vibrant shades of fiery red, golden yellow, bright orange, and stark white, applied with thick, vertical palette knife strokes. Small, stylized figures can be seen manning the shallow wooden boats. The lower half of the composition is filled with the stunning, fragmented reflections of the colorful sails, rendered with energetic horizontal sweeps of thick paint that convey the rippling movement of the water under a textured blue sky.
