Painting Chromatic Ascendance

A highly textured impasto painting of a vibrant sunset landscape. The foreground is a lush field of wildflowers, prominently featuring bright red poppies rendered with thick, sculptural dabs of paint, alongside green grasses and delicate white and blue blooms. The horizon burns with intense, fiery horizontal strokes of bright orange and deep crimson. Above, a dramatic sky dominates the composition, filled with massive, swirling clouds created with sweeping palette knife strokes in a rich palette of lavender, deep purple, teal, and soft peach where the sunlight catches the edges.
